Atlantic Bay Football Complex anchors Monarchs football on ODU’s 49th Street
Set on 49th Street in the heart of campus, the Atlantic Bay Football Complex is an Old Dominion athletics facility intertwined with Monarchs football operations and campus life [5].When ODU canceled the 2020 fall football season during the pandemic, some jobs connected with the complex were affected, a reminder of how closely the venue’s rhythms track the program’s schedule [4].The complex keeps a modest public footprint, with location and page listings on Instagram and Facebook, and a local directory entry that helps fans and visitors pinpoint the site in Norfolk [1][2][3].
