Baltimore’s The Diamond Collective to Feature Jackie Robinson Mural at New Facility
In Baltimore’s Pigtown neighborhood, The Diamond Collective is preparing to enhance its facility with the installation of a Jackie Robinson mural on its Ward Street façade, honoring the legacy of Major League Baseball’s first African American player. The nonprofit collaborative, located at 1205 S. Carey Street, aims to support youth through baseball development, offering amenities such as batting cages, HitTrax systems, pitching mounds, turf space, classrooms, and workforce development resources. The Diamond Collective brings together multiple mission-aligned organizations under one roof to foster athletic, academic, and leadership growth among Baltimore’s youth.
