Baseball Concepts grows Zeeland player-development hub with data tech and 'Scouts' teams
Baseball Concepts operates in Zeeland, Michigan as a year-round player-development hub for baseball and softball athletes, offering training, camps, clinics and team programming [1][2][3].The program is owned and operated by Devin Schaefers, an assistant baseball coach at Hope College [1]. Instruction leans on data capture and analysis with tools such as Rapsodo and HitTrax, pairing tech with on-field skill work across hitting, pitching, catching, infield and outfield [1][2].Staffed by former college and professional players and featuring softball expertise alongside baseball, the facility has also hosted Major and Minor League players for workouts [1][2].On the competitive front, the club fields travel teams under the Baseball Concepts Scouts name, with team profiles listed in Prep Baseball Report’s tournament system for 2027 and 2025 squads [5][6].The outfit maintains a visible local footprint, with a Zeeland directory listing and an active Facebook page, alongside additional business directory listings [3][4][7].
