The Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation, in collaboration with MLB and the Nike RBI Initiative, staged a Play Ball Weekend at the site of the former Memorial Stadium in Baltimore. The event featured baseball and softball clinics and a quickball round-robin for participants from the James Mosher Baseball League. BVBL was among the local youth organizations benefiting indirectly from the expanded access to equipment, camps, and training opportunities under the initiative aimed at growing youth engagement in the region. The event marks continued efforts to revitalize baseball and softball programming in Baltimore.
