Chesapeake rolls past Northeast 11–0 to capture regional title
Chesapeake seized control of the regional championship against rival Northeast with a six-run burst in the second inning and kept piling on in an 11–0 win to secure the title [1][2]. The offense hit in waves: Corcoran punched a run-scoring single, Adams added a two-run knock, and Hoyer joined the parade as the Cougars built an insurmountable lead [1][2].With the bats rolling and the defense airtight, Chesapeake put a statement on its postseason launch, claiming the region and advancing with confidence to the next round [1][2].
