Chiefs Rally for Walk‑Off Victory at Dozer Park
Peoria Chiefs secured a dramatic 7‑6 walk‑off win over the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at Dozer Park on May 8, 2026. The team trailed by three runs entering the bottom of the ninth, but produced a four‑run rally highlighted by Jalin Flores’ game‑winning single. Starting pitcher Yhoiker Fajardo delivered a strong performance, striking out seven while allowing just one run over his outing (mlb.com). Earlier in the week, Peoria endured a setback, surrendering six home runs in a 17‑5 loss to Beloit on May 16, illustrating a season marked by streaky offensive highs and pitching challenges (mlb.com).
