Cloquet-Esko-Carlton Boys Soccer Team Prepares for New Season with Confidence
The Cloquet‑Esko‑Carlton boys soccer program enters the upcoming season on the heels of a strong 2024 campaign, finishing 15‑4 with six players earning All‑Lake Superior Conference honors, including Minnesota Mr. Soccer finalist Ben Schramm. Head coach John Sundquist emphasizes the squad’s quiet confidence and depth, noting that despite a youthful roster with only two seniors, the team maintains a steady composure heading into the fall season. Sundquist highlighted the program’s sustained success, as the Lumberjacks have secured four consecutive section titles, pointing to a culture of consistent performance and resilience. This solid foundation sets a promising tone for ESKO HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL’s soccer involvement in the region.
