Hemphill Youth Football

Hemphill Youth Football entered a transitional phase as head coach Brandon Layne resigned following a difficult fall season. The team finished with a 1–9 record, failing to score in five games and securing their sole victory on September 26 with a 57–8 win over KIPP Houston High School. Layne, who was hired in February 2024, departs after two seasons as head coach. The club now faces the task of identifying a new leader to guide the program forward.
