Diamond Youth Baseball World Series Set for Lexington County
Lexington County is set to host the 70th Anniversary Diamond Youth Baseball (DYB) Division I & II World Series from July 31 to August 6, featuring 36 youth teams from across the United States. Events will be held at Lexington Sports Complex and Midland Sports Complex, with tournament infrastructure improvements including new grass infields, scoreboards and resurfaced parking. The South Carolina Baseball Academy and other regional organizations may benefit indirectly from increased youth baseball exposure and enhanced facilities in close proximity to Lexington. The event is seen as reinforcing the area’s status as a key venue in Southeast youth baseball.
