EGCYBL shifts to Cal Ripken Baseball ahead of 2026 season
East Greenbush–Castleton Youth Baseball will affiliate with Cal Ripken Baseball starting with the 2026 season, setting the framework for the town’s spring and summer schedule under the Cal Ripken banner [1].League information, sign‑ups, and season updates continue to run through the EGCYBL homepage and Facebook channels, which remain the central hub for families and volunteers in town [2][4]. The program is also listed as a member of the CD Elite Youth Baseball League for regional play [5].As the youth setup consolidates under the EGCYBL banner, an older online listing for “East Greenbush Babe Ruth League” is marked closed on MapQuest, while the active outlets for local baseball now point to EGCYBL’s site and Facebook [3][2][4].
