Hattiesburg Parks & Rec Launches Youth Softball League Ahead of Spring
P360 Performance Sports Hattiesburg serves a community in an area where youth softball is gaining momentum. Recently, Hattiesburg Parks & Recreation initiated 8‑and‑under and 10‑and‑under girls softball leagues for ages 6 to 10, with opening day scheduled for March 31 at Timberton Park and registration fees set at $35 with a deadline of February 25 (wdam.com). The new program, oriented toward fundamental skills development such as hitting, fielding, throwing and base running, is seen as a feeder for older youth softball programs in the region (wdam.com). P360 Performance Sports Hattiesburg continues to operate as a key training academy offering instruction in pitching, hitting, fielding, and performance development for baseball and softball ages and skill levels (p360performancesports.com).
