Kent Curling (Formerly Rexton Curling Club) Advances Focus on Community
Kent Curling, previously known as Rexton Curling Club, continues serving Kent County, New Brunswick, under a new operational model. Since its rebranding and transition to an ice rental agreement with the Village of Rexton, the club has redirected volunteer efforts toward promoting and expanding curling throughout the region (kentcurling.ca). Established in 1985, the club originally launched with men’s, ladies’, and mixed bonspiels and has hosted various provincial and national championships, including the Canadian Stick Curling Championships in 2023 (kentcurling.ca). Today, it remains a fixture of the local curling community, balancing its heritage with proactive outreach and volunteer-led growth initiatives under its Kent Curling banner.
