Kentucky Sports Academy fuels Mt. Washington baseball with Bombers program and indoor cages
Kentucky Sports Academy is an indoor baseball and softball training hub in Mount Washington, pairing multiple batting cages and training space with year‑round instruction and team access [1][3][4]. The facility is listed at 226 Gardner Way, with public directories reflecting its indoor setup and services [5][4].KSA offers cage rentals, memberships, team/facility bookings, and sports performance work, positioning itself as a one‑stop option for local players and teams [1][4].It’s also home to the Bombers Baseball Club, which fields youth teams across age groups [2]. The 11U Bombers have featured in tournament play, including a Halloween Spectacular semifinal against the Bullitt Bats [6].At the youngest levels, the Bombers’ 7U squad is led by head coach Chase Drummond [8]. Program staff also includes coach Justin Stinson [7]. Recent community notices have highlighted local tryouts and practices for families in the Mt. Washington area [8].Specialty instructors partner with the venue as well; K‑Zone Baseball Development notes that its in‑person training often runs at Kentucky Sports Academy in Mt. Washington [9].Between indoor reps in the winter and tournament weekends in season, KSA and the Bombers continue to anchor the community’s baseball and softball pathway year‑round [1][2][3].
