MAC Teases Major Upgrade for Baseball & Softball Fans
Hello, fans of McDermott Baseball! We’re thrilled to share exciting developments at McDermott Athletic Center (The MAC) in Rio Rancho. The Planning and Zoning Board has just unanimously approved a proposal from our namesake, Michael McDermott, to add a brand‑new 16,000‑square‑foot turf field adjacent to our existing facility. This incredible new space will elevate our offerings for baseball, softball, and more—providing teams with much‑needed practice and play options. We’re eager to see the Rio Rancho community come together on this field when final approval from the city governing body is secured.
