We at Fighting Fit Gym in Kirkcaldy haven’t had any recent media coverage. However, there’s exciting martial arts news across Scotland that we’re proud to share with our Fighting Fit family. Notably, Karate Scotland has made history by becoming the first country worldwide to allow menstrual-related breaks during competitions—a major step forward for athlete welfare. Their U21 team also had a triumphant showing at the EKF U21 European Championships in Limassol, with Cullen Brodie and Elize Bauld crowned European Champions, and Julia Duff and Joe Gallagher earning bronze medals. From all of us at Fighting Fit Gym, we celebrate these milestones that raise the bar for martial arts in Scotland—and we’re inspired to bring that same dedication to our members.
