Opening Day Highlights PUC’s Softball Challenge
Paris Université Club faced a challenging Opening Day to kick off the 2026 Division 1 Masculine Softball season. The Pharaons d’Évry‑Courcouronnes dominated both matches against the Paris Université Club, securing convincing victories with scores of 17‑2 and 14‑7. The weekend also introduced a new merged D1/D2 format and welcomed the return of Stade Toulousain Baseball & Softball to the top tier after Pessac’s withdrawal. Paris Université Club thus enters the season with clear targets to build upon this opening, while regional contenders begin asserting early leadership. The restructured competition aims to intensify rivalries and elevate performance across the league.
