Perfect Practice SYR anchors year-round baseball and softball training on Hiawatha Place
Syracuse’s year-round home for swings and reps sits on Hiawatha Place, where Perfect Practice SYR runs an all-indoor baseball and softball center. The complex, roughly 11,000–12,000+ sq ft, packs multiple batting cages, pitching lanes, open fielding space, and training tech like HitTrax and pitching machines [1][2].Players and teams tap memberships, hourly cage rentals, and one-on-one instruction, with team packages, clinics, camps, coach clinics, and tryout/tryout-prep on the slate. Outside trainers can book sessions for a $35/hour facility fee. Travel programs tied into the building include Syracuse Jr. Chiefs baseball and Upstate Empire softball [1][2].The facility is open to the public, posts hours and a reservation schedule online, and asks that cages be booked in advance; call 315-399-4799 to lock in time at 130 Hiawatha Place, Syracuse, NY 13208 [1][2][5]. Year-round reps keep the place humming with cage work and team sessions at the Hiawatha Place base [3][4].
