Phoenix Youth League Lighting Issues Impact Valley-Wide Play
Manzanita Ball Club is observing growing concern over Phoenix area youth baseball schedules as multiple leagues face disruptions. The Ahwatukee Pony League has cancelled several games and practices at Mountain Vista Park due to persistent lighting failures, which have limited available fields and reduced opportunities for player development (azfamily.com). These regional setbacks could affect scheduling and venue availability for nearby programs, including Manzanita Ball Club, as organizers consider fallback options amid reduced operational infrastructure. League officials and city representatives are reportedly in discussions to resolve the lighting issues and restore normal play in coming weeks (azfamily.com).
