Raynham Giants youth program marks 50+ years, still anchored in OCYFL
The Giants remain a volunteer-run youth football staple in Raynham, fielding age-group teams from Mites/Mighty Mite through Pee Wee and Midgets and competing in the Old Colony Youth Football League.[1][2] Founded in 1971, the program passed the 50-year mark with a community celebration in 2021, a milestone that underscored how many families have come through the helmets over five decades.[4][5]Day to day, the club leans on local coaches and parents for registration, scheduling and fundraising, with staples such as the annual golf tournament and season updates on its official channels.[2][3]Schedules, rosters and announcements are maintained on the club website and social feed, the quickest way to track sign-ups and game-week details as the OCYFL slate rolls on.[2][3]
