Region’s Youth Baseball & Softball Landscape Active with Showcase and Equipment Grants
Advantage Baseball Cincinnati remains part of a vibrant youth baseball and softball landscape in the Greater Cincinnati area. This spring, the Skyline Chili Reds Futures High School Showcase featured 84 high school teams, including several from the region, playing 49 games across venues such as the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University through May 16, thereby bolstering competitive opportunities in the area (mlb.com). Additionally, local youth programs benefited from a Reds Community Fund initiative, which, in partnership with St. Elizabeth Healthcare and Pitch In For Baseball & Softball, distributed approximately $70,000 in equipment to 24 high schools and 14 youth organizations across Greater Cincinnati and beyond (mlb.com). These developments provide context for Advantage Baseball Cincinnati’s ongoing role within a dynamic youth sports ecosystem.
