Tampa Bay Buccaneers Support Local Soccer Ambitions with Ybor Stadium Vision
Tampa Bay Buccaneers are thrilled to share the exciting developments in our home city’s soccer landscape. While we aren’t a soccer club, we proudly emphasize the region’s growing passion for the sport. The Tampa Bay Sun FC, representing our community in the women’s professional soccer league, has unveiled a visionary plan for a new 15,000‑seat waterfront stadium at Ybor Harbor—a bold project that would establish one of the world’s first stadiums designed specifically for a women’s professional soccer team and include USL headquarters alongside a mixed‑use development (tampabay.com). We stand with all Tampa Bay sports endeavors and celebrate this ambitious step forward for soccer fans across our region.
