The Lab in Petoskey offers 10-week academies, private training, team rentals
Set just off the downtown blocks, The Lab at 418 E Mitchell Street is Toby McFarland Academy’s indoor home for year‑round baseball and softball work [2]. Players can jump into a 10‑week Academy or book private and small‑group pitching and hitting sessions [1][2].Every program starts with baseline testing — exit velocity, throwing velocity, grip strength, broad jump and 60 time — paired with video analysis to track progress; coaches send drill plans to keep reps going at home [1]. Pitchers dig into bullpens, PFP work and pitch‑sequence instruction inside the space [1].Posted rates include a 10‑week option at $950 for an individual, or $500 per player in a four‑athlete group [1]. Teams can also rent time, with packages available at the Academy’s Indian River Lab in addition to Petoskey [2].Meet‑and‑greets, scheduling and registration run through the Academy’s site and Facebook channels, with contact details listed for parents and players planning the next block of training [1][3][4].
