'This is a GAME': Glendale Little League sign gets national attention
A ballpark sign at Glendale Little League lays it out simply: “These are KIDS,” “This is a GAME,” “Coaches are VOLUNTEERS,” “Umpires are HUMAN,” and “Your child is NOT being scouted by the Brewers today.” [1][2]The message surged beyond the complex and drew national attention, resonating with parents and coaches who value perspective and sportsmanship in youth sports. [1][2]League leaders put the sign up to cool sideline tempers and set expectations—an approach that continues to land with families across the country. [1]
