Travs’ Kade Anderson earns fifth Texas League Pitcher of the Week with five perfect frames
Anderson dominated the Drillers with five spotless frames and seven strikeouts in a start that anchored a one-hit shutout, securing the July 20–26 award — his fifth Texas League Pitcher of the Week this season. [1]The award follows a remarkable June stretch in which he claimed the honor three straight weeks, four times overall by June 22, while running a 27.2-inning scoreless streak and a 7–0 mark with a 1.02 ERA through 12 starts. [2]As of the latest league recognition, the 2025 No. 3 overall pick out of LSU sits at 9–1 with a 1.27 ERA in 15 starts, striking out 115 with just 10 walks across 77.2 innings for Double-A Arkansas, the Seattle Mariners’ affiliate. [1][2]He has quickly become the ace of a Travs staff chasing summer momentum in North Little Rock.
