Two Meridian youth teams reach Cal Ripken World Series; 12U opens with back-to-back wins
Meridian Youth Baseball & Softball will send two all-star squads to the Cal Ripken Jr. World Series, with both the 10U and 12U earning their berths after strong postseason runs. [3][4][5]The 12U group has made a flying start at the tournament, stacking consecutive wins to open its World Series slate. [6]Rooted in a volunteer-driven model, the club anchors youth baseball and softball in the city and fields multiple age-group teams for Meridian families. [1][2]The pathway extends into the Babe Ruth ranks, with Meridian sides competing at the 14U level as part of the program’s progression. [7][8]
