Union City Soccer Program Receives Statewide Youth Development Support
Union City Football Team supporters may note recent developments in the broader Union City soccer community. The Union City Soccer Club has been selected by New Jersey Youth Soccer to participate in the Innovate to Grow initiative, expanding access to equipment, coaching support and program development in underserved areas (njyouthsoccer.com). While not a professional team, the move is a meaningful boost for the region’s soccer infrastructure and aligns with objectives to foster youth engagement in the sport. The program delivers resources such as balls, coaching education, clinics and kits, enhancing local capacity to develop players and coaching staff into the future.
