Vacaville American Little League: Division guide from Single A to Juniors
VALL’s baseball pathway is laid out division by division. Single A (league ages 6–7) is coach‑pitch only, with teams formed by the Player Agent and League President after upper‑division drafts [1]. Double AA (ages 7–8) mixes kid‑pitch and coach‑pitch, with kid‑pitch early in games; teams are also assembled by the Player Agent and League President [1].AAA (primarily ages 9–10) moves fully to kid‑pitch and forms teams by draft managed by the Player Agent, as do the Majors (ages 11–12) [1]. The Intermediate 50/70 division (league age 13) uses the larger 50/70 field, holding a draft if two teams are possible and capping rosters at 14 players; Juniors (age 14) plays on full‑size fields under the same draft/roster parameters when applicable [1].The league honors one reciprocal buddy request when possible—both players must request each other [1]. VALL also supports the Challenger Division (ages 6–22), an adaptive baseball program; families can contact the Player Agent for participation details [1].
