Warbird Senators keep Central Illinois prospects on the summer showcase circuit
The Warbird Senators operate as a Central Illinois summer showcase program out of Normal, fielding age‑group teams that test themselves on the Perfect Game circuit — including 16U and 17U rosters during the 2017–18 season [1][2].Team hubs on Perfect Game track those squads’ rosters, event schedules and tournament results, offering a snapshot of the club’s summer slate and player pool [1][2].The club stays active on Instagram, sharing team updates, travel details and player signing announcements throughout the showcase calendar [3].The program also traces to coach Dan Blewett — a former professional pitcher — who is listed as the owner of Warbird Academy and the Warbird Senators and has been a visible figure in the organization’s development [4][5][6].Each summer, the Senators assemble age‑based lineups and hit the regional showcase trail, giving Central Illinois prospects regular reps against top travel competition [1][2].
