Winchester Royals Continue Summer Play at Bridgeforth Field
The Winchester Royals continued their collegiate summer campaign at Bridgeforth Field in Winchester, Virginia, this week, reinforcing their longstanding presence in the Valley Baseball League. The team, founded in 1979 and holding 13 league championships, remains one of the most successful teams in league history (en.wikipedia.org). Home games at the 1,500‑seat stadium within Jim Barnett Park persist through June and July as part of the Royals’ summer schedule (winchesterva.civicweb.net).
