Youth Baseball and Softball Activities Rise in Richmond Area
Ironbridge Baseball Academy North continues to serve the Richmond area through its Henrico location at 3001 E Parham Road, offering expanded opportunities in youth baseball and softball development within the region. Meanwhile, Richmond Public Schools is preparing to launch a new elementary school baseball league in spring 2026, supported by Virginia State University’s baseball team. Clinics ahead of the spring launch are scheduled for August 2025, aiming to foster early engagement in the sport across eight elementary schools in the district (ironbridgeacademy.com). This initiative reflects a growing momentum in organized youth baseball that aligns with the mission of Ironbridge Baseball Academy North.
