Youth Softball Momentum in Danbury Region
Fun and Fundamentals finds itself aligned with a regional surge in youth softball momentum across the Danbury area. At Rogers Park, home to numerous baseball and softball fields, the city maintains robust infrastructure supporting community athletics (en.wikipedia.org). Nearby, the Danbury Police Activities League (“the club”) continues to expand its year‑round youth sports offerings, including softball under the Danbury Storm banner, engaging children ages 5–18 through structured programming (danburypal.org). The club’s emphasis on accessible, development‑focused sports experiences mirrors the goals of Fun and Fundamentals, and contributes to sustained local participation in baseball and softball.
