HistóriaPadel Facilities Expand in Saudi Arabia, Building Momentum for Al‑Salam Club
Al‑Salam Club, a multisport institution in Al‑Awamiyah, operates within a Saudi racquet‑sports landscape experiencing robust growth. Padel, a fast‑growing racquet sport blending elements of tennis and squash, now boasts over 1,130 courts in the Kingdom and represents 72 percent of facilities in the Middle East (sgieurope.com). This expansion reflects growing governmental support and infrastructure development that could benefit broader clubs such as Al‑Salam. As the nation embraces diversified racquet disciplines alongside tennis and badminton, Al‑Salam Club may be well‑positioned to tap into regional trends fostering participation and access in emerging sports.
