HistóriaHistoric European Historical Fencing Championships in Denmark Inspire DSF Fans
Dear Dragon Sport Fencing (DSF) community, though club‑specific updates are scarce, we’re thrilled to highlight a landmark event in Danish fencing — the inaugural European Historical Fencing Championships held in Kalundborg, Denmark, in February 2025. Organized by the Danish Fencing Federation, the tournament featured disciplines like Sword and Buckler, Long Sword, Military Sabre, and Rapier and Dagger, drawing top talent from across Europe in a celebration of fencing’s rich heritage (eurofencing.info).As Dragon Sport Fencing (DSF) continues to grow in Næstved, this historic event underscores the growing recognition of fencing’s diverse styles and disciplines across Denmark. It’s an inspiring moment, and we look forward to more opportunities for DSF fencers to engage with such distinguished competitions in the future.
