HistóriaEagles Essen‑West crowned Regionalliga West champions, eye Oberliga decision
Eagles Essen‑West secured the Regionalliga West championship in their inaugural season, prevailing over the Ratinger Ice Aliens in four games with a series‑clinching victory that closed the gap decisively in the fourth contest. The club’s leadership, led by chair Thomas Böttcher, confirmed that a definitive stance on pursuing promotion to the Oberliga will be taken in May, as the team works through licensing and economic considerations. The sporting triumph completes a remarkable debut while off‑ice preparations continue ahead of the June 1 deadline for license submission.
