HistóriaItalian Equestrian Federation Expands Outreach Across Rome
The Italian Equestrian Federation (FISE) and the National Association of Italian Municipalities (ANCI) formalised a three‑year agreement on April 2 in Rome to promote equestrian activities across Italian municipalities. The initiative targets increased access to equestrian sports in schools and youth centres, enhanced integrated riding and hippotherapy for inclusion, and the development of local facilities and routes. As part of the initiative, the HorseEssence project was unveiled, featuring early stops in Pratoni del Vivaro, Cala Gonone and Pescasseroli focused on sustainable tourism, cultural heritage and environmental education. These developments could offer enhanced opportunities for clubs such as ITALICA in the Rome region to engage with broader, community‑focused equestrian programmes.
