HistóriaTeam Kuortane Standouts Earn Recognition While Kuortaneen Kunto Supports National Events
Team Kuortane, operating under Kuortaneen Kunto’s broader sports umbrella, was recently acknowledged in the 2024–25 Auroraliiga season with Yenna Kolmonen receiving the Noora Räty Award as Rookie of the Year, and Kerttu Kuja‑Halkola earning the U18 Student Athlete Award (en.wikipedia.org). Meanwhile, Kuortaneen Kunto collaborated in organizational duties for the 2026 hammer throw carnival, partnering with the Finnish Throwers’ Association and Kuortane Sports Institute for event delivery at the central sports field 25–28 June (yleisurheilu.fi). These developments underline the club’s dual role in fostering talent in women’s ice hockey and contributing to athletics event organization within the region.
