HistóriaHistoric Mississaugua Golf & Country Club to host 2025 CPKC Women’s Open
The LPGA has named Mississaugua Golf & Country Club as the host venue for the 2025 CPKC Women’s Open, bringing the national championship to Mississauga next summer [1].Set in the Credit River valley, Mississaugua is a classic par‑71 that marries Donald Ross’s strategic blueprint with Stanley Thompson’s finishing touches, a layout celebrated for angles, elevation changes and a demanding closing stretch [2][4]. The club’s roots trace to 1906, a pedigree reflected in its course architecture and its long-standing place among Canada’s premier private clubs [2].The championship résumé runs deep here: Mississaugua has staged the Canadian Open multiple times and remains a fixture in the country’s golf history, a track record that underlines why it returns to the top tier of tournament hosts in 2025 [3][4]. Expect a test that rewards placement over power and showcases the property’s historic character on an LPGA stage [1][4].
