Federation & Sports Data Privacy Notice
Version: 1.3Last Updated: 2026-09-16
This Federation & Sports Data Privacy Notice supplements the Loqzone Privacy Policy. It specifically explains how Loqzone handles sporting and competition information received from authorized sports sources, including where information is received indirectly rather than directly from the individual. The main Loqzone Privacy Policy continues to apply. This Notice does not replace the Privacy Policy. Where applicable law, a source-specific privacy notice, or a source-specific agreement requires additional or stricter rules, those rules may also apply.Previous versions: v1.1 (2026-08-20)
1. Who Loqzone IsThe Platform is operated by Loqzone LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, United States. For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR, Loqzone LLC is the default data controller for personal data processed to operate and secure the Platform, unless a different Loqzone entity is expressly identified as the controller for a particular service, relationship, or legal requirement.Where Loqzone independently determines the purposes and essential means of incorporating Authorized Sports-Source Data into the Loqzone Sports Graph, Sports Memory, factual sporting content, or Loqzone-controlled discovery services, Loqzone may act as an independent controller for that processing. This Notice does not predetermine the controller, processor, joint-controller, or other data-protection role of any federation, league, governing body, competition organizer, club, sports organization, sports-data provider, technology provider, or other source. Those roles depend on the applicable agreement, processing context, and legal analysis.Privacy Contact: privacy@loqzone.comEU Contact: EU users may contact privacy@loqzone.com for privacy and data protection requests.
2. What Authorized Sports-Source Data Means“Authorized Sports-Source Data” means sporting or competition information that Loqzone receives from sources such as:
  • sports federations,
  • leagues,
  • governing bodies,
  • competition organizers,
  • clubs and sports organizations,
  • sports associations,
  • official sports-data systems,
  • authorized technology providers,
  • authorized data providers,
  • other legitimate official sports sources.
Authorized Sports-Source Data may be received through APIs, feeds, structured files, integrations, data exports, or other authorized methods.Public availability is not the same as authorization. Technical access to an API, feed, database, export, website, or integration is not itself a GDPR lawful basis, contractual right, publication right, indexing right, or AI-use permission. Receipt of data does not mean Loqzone automatically publishes all received fields.
3. Categories of InformationDepending on the source, competition, jurisdiction, rights position, and processing purpose, Authorized Sports-Source Data may include:
  • source identifiers,
  • competition,
  • season,
  • club,
  • team,
  • match or event,
  • match date,
  • opponent,
  • score or result,
  • round,
  • standings,
  • aggregate team or season information,
  • official participant or player identity where lawfully supplied,
  • verified goal attribution,
  • verified assist attribution,
  • official appearance or lineup information where permitted,
  • official sporting statistics where permitted,
  • provenance,
  • source event IDs,
  • verification status,
  • corrections,
  • version history.
Not every category is always collected, used, retained, or publicly displayed. Some Authorized Sports-Source Data may relate to individuals who do not have Loqzone accounts and who did not provide the information directly to Loqzone.
4. Purposes of ProcessingLoqzone may process Authorized Sports-Source Data for purposes such as:
  • operating and maintaining the Loqzone Sports Graph,
  • factual reporting of organized sporting competitions,
  • sports discovery,
  • maintaining accurate historical sporting records,
  • operating Sports Memory,
  • linking sporting events to competitions, seasons, clubs, and teams,
  • generating factual content based on verified sources,
  • maintaining provenance,
  • verification,
  • deduplication,
  • correcting inaccurate sporting records,
  • maintaining historical competition records,
  • improving the accuracy and reliability of Loqzone’s sports information infrastructure.
Loqzone does not describe this processing as scouting, profiling, or ranking of minors under this Notice.
5. How Sports Memory WorksLoqzone’s sports-data architecture may conceptually connect sporting information through relationships such as:Federation / Governing Body→ Competition→ Season→ Club→ Team→ Match / Event→ Athlete / ParticipantSports Memory links sporting records to their verified sources. AI-generated text, audio and other presentations do not replace those sources or establish new sporting facts.Loqzone may retain provenance, source event IDs, verification status, correction history, and version history to support accuracy, source integrity, auditability, and correction workflows. Loqzone may connect the same verified event to relevant club, team, season, competition, or historical surfaces.
6. Lawful BasesWhere GDPR applies, Loqzone must have an applicable lawful basis for personal-data processing. Depending on the context, potential lawful bases may include:
  • Article 6(1)(f) legitimate interests,
  • contractual necessity where genuinely applicable,
  • legal obligation,
  • consent where required,
  • other lawful bases permitted by applicable law.
Where Loqzone relies on legitimate interests for limited processing of official or verified sports competition information, potential legitimate interests may include:
  • accurate factual reporting of organized sport,
  • maintaining historical sporting records,
  • sports discovery,
  • enabling users to follow official competitions,
  • maintaining provenance and data integrity.
Legitimate interests do not automatically apply to all data. Children’s rights receive heightened consideration. Source authorization does not itself create a GDPR lawful basis. Loqzone evaluates necessity, proportionality, impact on the individual, reasonable expectations where relevant, available safeguards, and the rights and freedoms of the data subject. This Notice does not state that parental consent is never necessary. Consent or another lawful basis may be required depending on the jurisdiction, participant age, data category, source context, and processing activity.
7. Article 14 and Indirect-Collection TransparencyWhere the GDPR applies and Loqzone obtains personal data from a source other than the individual, Loqzone applies the transparency requirements of Article 14 GDPR.Where required, Loqzone will provide the applicable Article 14 information within the legally required timeframe, including within a reasonable period after obtaining the personal data and generally no later than one month, or earlier where required because the information is first used to communicate with the individual or is first disclosed to another recipient.Where an exception under Article 14(5) GDPR applies, including where providing individual notice would be impossible or would involve disproportionate effort in the circumstances, Loqzone will assess and document the basis for relying on that exception and implement appropriate safeguards. Such safeguards may include making this Notice publicly available and providing additional source, correction, objection, or privacy information through relevant Loqzone surfaces.Public availability of this Notice does not by itself eliminate an individual transparency obligation where applicable law requires Loqzone to provide information directly to the data subject.Where required by Article 14, Loqzone will also provide information about the source from which the relevant personal data originated and, where applicable, whether the information originated from a publicly accessible source.
8. Youth / Minor Data PolicyFor participants under 18, Loqzone applies heightened safeguards and a narrow public-use policy. For participants under 18, Loqzone may display the participant’s name solely in the context of factual reporting of an official or verified sporting event where necessary to attribute a verified goal or assist, subject to applicable law, contractual rights, and Loqzone’s privacy controls.Under this default policy:
  • Loqzone does not create public individual profiles for minors from Authorized Sports-Source Data,
  • the public object is the event, match, competition, or team history, not a personal dossier about the minor,
  • youth information must come from an authorized and verified sports source,
  • Loqzone does not infer missing youth-player facts from unrelated sources.
Limited factual recent-performance summariesWhere legally and contractually permitted, Loqzone may generate and publicly display limited factual sporting summaries derived solely from Authorized Sports-Source Data relating to official or verified sporting events.Such summaries may include objectively verifiable statements concerning a minor participant’s recent verified goals or assists across a limited number of official or verified events, for example that a participant has scored a stated number of verified goals across a stated number of recent verified matches.Such summaries must:
  • be derived solely from authorized and verified sporting event records;
  • remain connected to factual event, competition, team, or sports-news context;
  • not create or function as a standalone public individual minor profile, statistical dossier, or career record;
  • not include player rankings, ratings, scouting assessments, valuations, predictions, or qualitative assessments;
  • not infer unsupported characteristics or missing facts; and
  • remain subject to applicable law, contractual rights, jurisdiction-specific restrictions, privacy controls, and any relevant legitimate-interest assessment.
The ability to calculate a factual recent-performance statement does not create permission to build or publicly expose a persistent statistical profile about the minor.Under this default youth policy, Loqzone does not publicly display:
  • date of birth,
  • unnecessary exact age,
  • standalone public individual statistical profiles, career dossiers, or persistent season-by-season or career statistical histories,
  • disciplinary histories,
  • health or injury information,
  • scouting assessments,
  • player rankings,
  • player valuations,
  • future-potential predictions,
  • personality or behavioral assessments,
  • contact information,
  • personal social-media information.
Photographs and video of identifiable minors are outside this default rule and require a separately established legal basis, rights position, and/or authorization as applicable.Jurisdiction-specific rules may be stricter. A youth-publication approach that may be available in one country, competition, or context does not automatically apply globally.
9. AI and MinorsLoqzone may use AI systems to transform verified factual sports data into neutral factual output. Verified source information remains the factual source of truth. For minors, Loqzone’s default policy is not to use AI to infer or create claims about:
  • ability,
  • talent,
  • future potential,
  • personality,
  • behavior,
  • emotional state,
  • health,
  • injury,
  • physical development,
  • tactical quality,
  • scouting value,
  • rankings,
  • player valuation,
  • professional prospects,
  • other unsupported characteristics.
No verified source = no factual claim.AI or automated systems may calculate or express limited factual recent-performance summaries from verified event records, including objectively verifiable goal or assist totals across a limited number of recent official or verified events. This does not authorize AI-generated rankings, ratings, scouting opinions, qualitative performance assessments, predictions, valuations, or assessments of a minor’s ability or future potential.
10. Internal vs Public ProcessingAuthorized Sports-Source Data may be processed more broadly internally than it is publicly displayed. Public visibility, search-engine indexing, and AI use are separate eligibility decisions.Loqzone may classify information as:
  • Internal Only,
  • Restricted,
  • Public,
  • Public with safeguards,
  • Public but excluded from search-engine indexing where technically appropriate,
  • Public and indexable.
Classification may depend on factors including:
  • jurisdiction,
  • age,
  • competition type,
  • data category,
  • identifiability,
  • contractual rights,
  • lawful basis,
  • privacy classification,
  • legitimate-interest assessment where relevant,
  • risk to the individual.
Internal processing is not automatically lawful merely because information is not publicly displayed. Where personal data is involved, internal processing must still have an appropriate lawful basis and comply with applicable data-protection law.
11. Search Engine IndexingPublic availability and search-engine indexing are separate decisions. Some public sporting information may be indexable. Some public information may be configured as noindex where appropriate. Loqzone may restrict indexing based on age, privacy classification, jurisdiction, data category, source rights, or other legal and product controls.Loqzone cannot guarantee removal from third-party caches, indexes, archives, or copies outside Loqzone’s control.
12. Data Sharing and RecipientsLoqzone may process or share Authorized Sports-Source Data and related personal data with categories of recipients such as:
  • infrastructure and hosting providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS),
  • AI service providers, including OpenAI, where AI-assisted features are used,
  • analytics providers, including Google Analytics, where applicable,
  • authorized sports sources,
  • rights holders,
  • verification and correction partners,
  • professional advisors, including legal and accounting advisors,
  • public authorities where required by law.
These providers and categories may change over time. Loqzone does not sell personal data and does not share personal data for third-party advertising.
13. Controller / Processor RolesData-protection roles depend on the actual processing relationship.A federation, league, governing body, competition organizer, club, or sports organization may be an independent controller for its original competition or data system. A technology or data provider may act as a processor, subprocessor, independent controller, or other role depending on its arrangement.Loqzone may act as an independent controller for Loqzone-controlled Sports Graph, Sports Memory, factual publication, and discovery purposes where Loqzone independently determines the purposes and essential means of that processing.Joint controllership may exist only where purposes and essential means are genuinely jointly determined. For information about the source and applicable data-protection roles for a particular sporting record, contact privacy@loqzone.com. Any applicable source-specific notice provides additional details.
14. RetentionLoqzone distinguishes between:
  • non-personal sporting or event data, and
  • identifiable personal data.
Non-personal historical sporting records may be retained as part of Sports Memory.Personal data is retained only as long as necessary or otherwise justified under applicable law. Retention may consider sporting-record integrity, provenance, corrections, disputes, legal obligations, contractual requirements, security, verification, audit needs, and historical purposes where lawful.Public visibility and backend retention may differ. Data may be anonymized, restricted, corrected, or removed from public display even where an underlying non-personal event remains part of Sports Memory.Loqzone does not claim an unlimited right to retain identifiable personal data indefinitely.
15. CorrectionsLoqzone aims to reflect verified source data accurately.Source corrections may be propagated to corresponding Loqzone Event or Sports Memory objects where technically implemented and appropriate. Users, players, parents or guardians where appropriate, clubs, rights holders, and authorized representatives may report inaccurate sporting data.Loqzone may verify requested changes against the official or authorized source and may retain correction and version-history records where needed for provenance, auditability, dispute handling, or sporting-record integrity. Corrections may require reasonable operational time and may depend on source verification.
16. Data-Subject RightsDepending on location and applicable law, individuals may have rights including:
  • access,
  • correction,
  • erasure,
  • restriction,
  • objection,
  • portability where applicable,
  • withdrawal of consent where consent is relied upon,
  • complaint to a supervisory authority.
Right to object where legitimate interests apply. Where Loqzone processes personal data on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, the individual has the right to object at any time on grounds relating to their particular situation. If such an objection is made, Loqzone will cease the relevant processing unless Loqzone demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override the interests, rights and freedoms of the individual, or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims. These rights may apply even if the individual does not have a Loqzone account.Requests and objections may be submitted to: privacy@loqzone.comThe Privacy Policy's request-response deadlines apply, including the GDPR one-month response rule and legally permitted extensions. Contact us through the same address for information about the applicable international-transfer safeguards and how to obtain a copy.Loqzone does not guarantee deletion in every circumstance.
17. Child / Parent RequestsWhere the data subject is a minor, a parent or guardian may contact Loqzone where legally appropriate.Loqzone may need to verify identity and authority before acting on a request. Age, maturity, jurisdiction, applicable law, and the nature of the request may affect whose request is legally controlling. This Notice does not state that only parents may exercise a child’s rights.
18. International ProcessingPersonal data may be processed in the United States, the European Union, or other jurisdictions where Loqzone or its service providers operate.Where required, international transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
19. Data SecurityLoqzone implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including:
  • encryption,
  • access controls,
  • logging and monitoring,
  • least-privilege access practices,
  • secure infrastructure providers,
  • incident response processes.
No system is completely secure, but Loqzone takes reasonable steps to minimize risk.
20. Jurisdiction-Specific RulesSports-data, youth-data, publication, and indexing rules can differ by country.A publication decision permissible in one jurisdiction may not be permissible elsewhere. Loqzone may apply jurisdiction-specific privacy rules, field restrictions, publication restrictions, and indexing rules depending on applicable law, participant age, competition type, source rights, and risk.
21. Contractual Rights vs Privacy RightsContractual rights, GDPR lawful basis, publication rights, indexing rights, and AI-use permissions are separate issues.A source may contractually authorize Loqzone to receive or use information, but Loqzone must still have an applicable legal basis and comply with privacy law where personal data is involved.Conversely, having a potential GDPR lawful basis does not itself grant intellectual-property, database, media, access, contractual, or other rights to receive, ingest, republish, index, commercialize, or otherwise use source information.
22. No Automatic Rights from Public AvailabilityInformation being publicly visible elsewhere does not automatically give Loqzone unrestricted rights to ingest, republish, index, commercialize, or use it for AI-generated content.Loqzone applies source, rights, privacy, and legal review controls before determining whether and how Authorized Sports-Source Data may be processed, displayed, indexed, or used.
