2026 Softball Tournament Highlights Regional Collegiate Developments
The South Range Baseball Association continues to operate as a key provider of youth baseball and softball programming in the North Lima area, serving children aged four to fourteen in T‑Ball, baseball, and softball (sportsengine.com). While no immediate club-specific developments have emerged recently, broader attention has turned to the growth of collegiate summer softball leagues. The Northwoods League Softball expanded in 2026 to include the Grand Forks Spitfires, a new team playing at Albrecht Field, marking the first NWLS team to play in a non‑baseball market (en.wikipedia.org). This expansion reflects a rising tide in fastpitch softball interest that may inspire programming and engagement at community levels, including the South Range Baseball Association.
