Area Softball Action Highlights West Mifflin Postseason Play
The club known as 3R Hitter’s Club is located in the West Mifflin area, though recent coverage has centered on local high school softball. West Mifflin’s varsity softball team advanced in the WPIAL Class 4A postseason, defeating North Catholic 9‑6 on May 12, 2025, before falling to Blackhawk in subsequent rounds (maxpreps.com). The broader region saw robust competition in the WPIAL/UPMC Sports Medicine Softball Championships, with West Mifflin among the 76 teams qualifying for the bracketed tournament (wpial.org). These high school developments reflect an active softball environment in which a training organization such as 3R Hitter’s Club likely operates.
