Backyard Hackers offers year-round baseball, softball training and cages in Appleton
Backyard Hackers, the Appleton baseball and softball instruction outfit, offers year‑round development from its facility at 101 W Edison Ave. [1]Summer programming features private lessons, small‑group work, and camp‑style sessions aimed at keeping skills sharp between seasons. [3]The formal off‑season program runs October–March with multiple tracks — Regular, Pitchers, Little Hackers for younger athletes, Experienced, and team training — typically in hour‑long small groups led by professional coaches alongside mentored local coaches. [5][4]Training emphasizes power at the plate and throwing velocity; recent six‑month cycles have averaged roughly +6 mph gains in bat speed and throwing velocity. [5]For extra reps, the indoor setup is available for facility rental and batting cages, with specialties in hitting instruction, pitching development, and arm‑care. [7]Programming also incorporates arm‑care and player mindset coaching, with clear building access guidelines for families using the space. [8]Backyard Hackers stays active with instructional posts on its Ball Blog and updates via its Facebook page. [6][2]
