Bixby built for big offense in 2026 after 31–10 run; Standley and Knight headline
Entering 2025, the Spartans were a 6A outfit coming off a 23–13 season and a regional‑final exit, with a nucleus that included Brian Justice, Barrett Standley, Cooper Leggett, Brock Copass, Nate Lloyd, Coen Miller, Rhett Leu and Grant Goldman. New faces such as Landen Wegener, Graham Knight, Dax Sullivan and Brennen Galligan were poised to boost depth, though managing inexperience on the mound was a key focus [1].The follow‑up outlook for 2026 charted a step forward: a 31–10 campaign and a state semifinal appearance, with expectations of one of the state’s better offenses. Returners named included Standley, Knight (Cowley CC commit), Nate Gonzalez, John Crosby and Sullivan, while newcomers Jackson Turney, Cody Young (Cowley CC commit) and Connor Arant were flagged to push for roles. The question was replacing graduated innings to balance that firepower [2].Across both seasons, the throughline is athleticism, offensive depth and leadership, with the ceiling tied to how quickly the staff covers the lost innings and settles the rotation [1][2].
