BlueClaws Face Attendance Challenges Amid Weather Disruptions
The Jersey Shore BlueClaws encountered significant attendance declines during the 2025 Minor League Baseball season, affected largely by adverse weather conditions. The team endured 10 home postponements and five road rainouts—more than any other club in the league except Chattanooga. Total attendance dropped by 67,167 (23.6%), with average attendance per date decreasing by 497 (11.4%) to 3,874, marking the lowest figures in any non-pandemic year. Despite fewer home dates in 2025, the BlueClaws still recorded 17 games with over 5,000 fans, including a high of 7,478. The club's resilience amid challenging weather underscores its continued regional support.
