Community Courts Revived in Harrison: A Homegrown Legacy
Dear fans of Harrison Futbol Club,While club-specific news remains scarce this week, we’re thrilled to share a heartening story from nearby – the iconic Harrison Soccer Courts have been beautifully renovated and reopened, breathing new life into the very heart of our region’s soccer culture. On April 21, the Town of Harrison, with help from the New York Red Bulls, unveiled a refurbished pitch complete with new FieldTurf and improved drainage, preserving a historic playing ground that helped nurture legends like Tab Ramos and John Harkes (newyorkredbulls.com).This renewal matters to us at Harrison Futbol Club because it reinforces the local soccer roots that unite Elizabeth and Harrison. These courts stand as a beacon of community soccer, honouring the legacy of grassroots play that inspires our own players every day. We share in this revival with pride and optimism for the future.Stay tuned – we’ll keep working to bring Harrison Futbol Club into the spotlight with more news soon.
