We’re excited to share that our city’s very own football field at Episcopal High School will serve as the training ground for the Croatian national football team during the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026™. Beginning in early June, Croatia’s players will train right here on our turf while staying in Old Town’s AKA Hotel—bringing world-class soccer action to our doorstep. It’s a proud moment for Alexandria and our fans to see our football field play a role on the global stage, further cementing our city’s growing reputation as a premium sports destination.
