CT Mets Baseball Academy fields 9U–18U teams, year-round training at CT Sportsplex
Based at the CT Sportsplex in North Branford, CT Mets Baseball Academy fields teams from roughly 9U through 18U and runs year-round development that includes private lessons, clinics, camps, and a dedicated college recruiting program [1].The staff is built around former pros and veteran evaluators, with names familiar to regional baseball diehards: former MLB outfielder Rymer Liriano, Jose Alegria, Joel Guerrero, and Rafael “Raphy” Quezada among the listed coaches [2].On the travel circuit, CT Mets teams maintain active profiles on Perfect Game, Prospect Select, and Prep Baseball Tournaments—platforms that track rosters, schedules, and results for each age group [3][5][4]. The CT Mets 17U/18U entry has a recorded 5-4-0 seasonal mark on the PBR Tournaments platform [4].Day-to-day operations center on the program’s North Branford site at 216 Foxon Rd, with a corporate listing at 250 Totoket Rd also in town [6][7]. The setup supports a consistent rhythm of team play and individualized instruction designed to move players forward season after season [1].
