CT Mets Baseball Academy runs year-round player development at CT Sportsplex
North Branford’s CT Mets Baseball Academy keeps the bats humming year‑round at the Connecticut Sportsplex, 216 Foxon Rd, serving as the hub for training, tryouts and team activities [4][7].The academy fields club teams and a full slate of development options — clinics, private lessons and seasonal camps, including a summer camp — while guiding prospects through college‑recruiting preparation [1][2]. Registration, schedules and team pages run through its LeagueApps portal, with live club team listings for families to track [3][5].A seasoned staff anchors the work on the field: Jose Alegria (catcher development; Arizona Diamondbacks system), Joel Guerrero (former minor‑leaguer and scout), former MLB outfielder Rymer Liriano, Rafael “Raphy” Quezada (Diamondbacks system) and coach Hector, who supports players on JUCO‑to‑college paths [2].CT Mets emphasizes individualized skill work, goal setting and character development — building confidence and a strong baseball foundation in a positive environment [2][3].Families can follow tryout notices and updates on Instagram at @ctmetsbaseballacademy, with registration and location details centralized on the LeagueApps member portal [6][3][4].
