Erickson All‑Sports Facility Baseball and Softball Fields Delayed by Weather
The Game Changer club in Kearneysville is located within a region where local baseball and softball developments are under way. County officials have temporarily halted use of newly constructed baseball and softball fields at the Erickson All‑Sports Facility due to persistent weather delays that pushed back completion beyond the original early‑February target. Wood County Schools now expects installation to finish within approximately three weeks, with a ribbon‑cutting ceremony scheduled once grass is established and the fields are deemed playable (wtap.com).
