Escondido Savage Wolves name surfaces in 2016 Hudl highlight reels
The Savage Wolves name has local roots: two player highlight reels from October 2016 identify the team as “Escondido Savage Wolves,” showcasing clips for Kevin Forrestal and Grant Tkach [1][2].The posts link both players to the Escondido Savage Wolves banner in that fall window, a small but clear marker of the nickname’s use in the local soccer scene [1][2].
