Grand Prairie Stadium Redeveloped into Major League Cricket Venue
Grand Prairie Stadium, formerly home to the Texas AirHogs, has been redeveloped into a Major League Cricket facility and now serves as the home ground for the Texas Super Kings. The transformation began in 2021, with the renovated venue reopening in July 2023 to host matches for Major League Cricket. The stadium also functions as a training hub for the U.S. national cricket team and was among the venues for the group stage of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup held in 2024. The club's legacy remains through references to the Texas AirHogs, despite the shift in purpose of their former ballpark.
